Not sure I get it; still struggling with the composition. But then again, it may not be about composition at all. Just fell into Atget's trap. Probably just a co-occurrence (which notion would imply the existence of two separate things, eg pond vs branches) as seen through the photographer's eye, a memento of how by a well-chosen perspective, we can add an idiosyncratic layer to what we usually and faute de mieux call reality, and we can somehow convert what we believe is our inside into an ephemere outside.
